Bhilwara’s best spots to hang out
My hometown guide: Saturday nights, a new café, pickleball, garba nights and where I shop and get glam in Bhilwara.
By Vanshika Tanwani

Jaipur is where I live now, but Bhilwara is home. People know it as the textile city, and yes, the fabric shopping is unreal, but there's a lot more going on than people think.
Full disclosure first: I've worked with several of the places below, and every paid partnership is marked on its post. I've only included places I've actually been to and posted about.
Saturday nights
Tokyo Club
My caption said it best: Bhilwara's first club where, every Saturday, the party never stops. If you're planning a Saturday night out with friends in Bhilwara, this is the one I've posted about.

Cafe Bluery
I was there for the grand opening in 2026. It's a fresh addition to Bhilwara's café scene and a good pick for a café date or a catch-up with the girls. Follow them for what's new.

Pickleball has arrived in Bhilwara, and it's honestly such a fun plan with friends, even if (like me) you're mostly there for the outfit. Slots are booked in advance, so plan ahead.

Navratri in Bhilwara is a whole mood. In 2025 I was hyping Navrang Utsav at Grand Vasante: two nights of non-stop dhol beats. Venues and dates change every year, so watch for announcements as Navratri gets close.

Shopping
Bhilwara is where I go for fabric, footwear and festive pieces:
- Fabric Boutique: near the bus stand, behind Hariseva Vatika. Bridal, festive and party-wear fabrics in rich colours.
- Steps, The Complete Shoe Gallery: behind Harisewa Dham. Footwear and handbags for the whole family, including wedding-season heels and flats.
- Pooja Sarees: the outfit in my "party glam, activated" reel.
- Jewels Namokar: the jewellery in that same reel.
- Risi Luxe Silver: silver jewellery; I wore them for a Valentine's Day look.
- Nakhrali: opposite Apsara Complex, Lohiya Market Road, Azad Chowk. The purple lehenga from my garba guide.

View the postHow I'd spend a day in Bhilwara
Fabric and footwear shopping in the morning, a café in the afternoon, and if it's a Saturday, get ready and go out at night. In Navratri season, swap the club for garba.
When to go
Bhilwara is at its best from October to February, when the evenings are cool enough to stay out for hours. Navratri and the wedding season make October to December the liveliest months. Summer afternoons are hot, so plan cafés and shopping for mornings and evenings.
What to wear in Bhilwara
- Shopping day: a comfortable co-ord or kurta and flats. You'll be walking between shops.
- Café afternoon: something you want photos in. Light colours look lovely in daylight.
- Saturday night: go all out. One strong colour, heels you can dance in. My party glam guide has the formula.
- Wedding season: this is the city for ethnic wear. Pick your fabric here, get it stitched, then show up and steal the show.
Shooting in Bhilwara
- Ask shop owners before filming inside a store; most are happy to be tagged.
- Market lanes look great at golden hour but get busy, so go early.
- Cafés are easiest to shoot on weekday afternoons.
A few tips
- Shops and cafés get busy in the evenings and on weekends; go earlier if you want to shoot.
- Prices, offers and timings change, so check each place's Instagram before you go.
- Tag the places you visit. Local businesses grow when we hype them.
